By invitation, Professor Pino Martin spoke at and participated in the Workshop on Recent Developments in Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations and their Applications, which was hosted by the Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery, in Banff, Alberta, Canada on September 1st through 5th, 2008. She presented a lecture on "Numerical Challenges for DNS and LES of Highly Compressible Turbulence" at the workshop.
