By invitation, Professor Pino Martin participated on the Scientific Committee of the Workshop on Compressible Turbulent Flow Research for the Next Generation of Air Vehicles, which was sponsored by the Association Francaise de Mecanique (AFM), and was held in Marseille, France on March 17 through 19, 2008. In addition, she presented a lecture on "Thoughts on Foundational Research in Turbulent Wall-Bounded Flows" at the workshop.
