After presenting a lecture, "Characterization of the Near-Wall High-Temperature Turbulent Flow Regime," at the AFOSR Workshop on Merging Aerothermodynamics and High-Temperature Materials Research in Herndon, Virginia on February 3, 2005, Professor Pino Martin and SRI International experimentalists begin collaborative work on turbulence interacting with surface catalysis and real gas effects.
