Professor Martín's CRoCCo Laboratory research has earned grants from the AFOSR, NASA, NSF and Sandia National Laboratories, in addition to Princeton University Research Board awards (2002, 2003).

Professor Martín received the 2007 Princeton University Rheinstein Award that is given to an assistant professor that has shown exceptional promise in his/her chosen field, as well as a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation.
